In the app (Android)
- Open Macuta and go to More → Profile → Delete account.
- Type the word shown and tap «Send code».
- Enter the 6-digit code we email you and tap the button to delete your account for good.
On the web
Sign in at app.macuta.ao and follow the same steps: More → Profile → Delete account.
Without access to the app
Email info@macuta.ao from your account’s email address with the subject «Delete account». We confirm the request by reply and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
We immediately and permanently delete: your email, profile (name, phone and photo), sessions and linked devices, the encrypted copies of your finances, your plan and payment attempts. The data on the device where you delete the account is also erased.
A paid plan ends with no refund for the remaining time. Other devices keep the data they already have, but without an account.
What is kept
Records of completed payments (plan, amount, method, reference and date) are kept, without your email, for as long as accounting law requires.
