Future transactions and automatic payments

Repeating, subscriptions, upcoming and overdue

When creating a transaction, choose Repetitive or Subscription for one that repeats, or Upcoming for a one-off future transaction. Tap (i) to learn about each type.

These transactions only count in totals once marked as paid. To do that, tap the transaction's action in the list.

Overdue transactions

By default, transactions whose date has passed are paid automatically. To change this, go to Settings › More options › Transactions › Auto pay transactions.

The next transaction

The next transaction in the series is only created when you mark the current one as paid or skip it. By default, the paid date is the day you mark it (automatically paid ones keep the transaction date); in Settings › More options › Transactions you can set Paid date to the transaction date.

Bills that change

For bills whose amount changes (electricity, water, card), use Ask for the amount when paying, in Settings › More options › Transactions: Always, or When the amount is 0 (the default; create the transaction with amount 0). When you mark it as paid, enter the right amount; the next one in the series stays as it was. With Auto pay transactions on, the ones past their date are paid without asking for the amount: for these bills, turn it off or correct the amount afterwards.

The next transaction doesn't appear

A transaction creates the next one only once. If you deleted the next one, it won't come back. To recreate it, change the transaction type to default and back to Repetitive, Subscription or Upcoming; the next one is created when you mark it as paid or skip it.

Where to see them

In Subscriptions you see your subscriptions and what they cost; in Scheduled, the future and overdue transactions, to mark them as paid or skip them. On a phone they are under More › Plan; on a computer, in the sidebar.
